Here are some sample (stacked)
images from Io shadow transit animation (see links below).
Each image is stacked resized
(1.5X) and includes between 50 and 100 frames (stacked with
Registax).
The moon was almost full and
some clouds were also present which shows in the animation, especially
at the end.
Animation is made of 26 frames (with Photoshop and Animation
Shop). Whole Io shadow transit took about 2.5 hours in real time
- this animation is only 9 seconds long). Frame separation is
5 minutes (in real time).
