After long period of cloudy skies it finally cleared. So when it was almost full moon I decided to spend one night adjusting and measuring my mount.
First I made polar adjustment the best I could with WCS.
Then was the time for measurements.
I made 3 measurement rounds (each lasting 8 to 10 minutes) with
K3CCDTools 3 and the results I turned to grap using excellent
freeware program called PEAS.
So here are the results. Top
is the first measurement and bottom the last.
I don't know if it's the shorter measurement time or that the
worm gears and wheels had better position but the last measurement
shows only +-7" periodic error which I think is quite astounting
for a mount at this price.
